Try watching you carb intake as well. Breads, pastas, and other carbs turn into sugar in you're system. If you don't burn them off quickly and efficiently they will turn into FAT. Try eating few carbs when you are less active, and more carbs when you are more active. Despite the fact that carbs can turn into fat they are a great source of energy.
