Hi, I was wondering how much weight is healthy to lose in a week? Last week I lost 4lbs and I am not sure if it was healthy or not. Please reply!

Contrary to popular belief, no, it is not healthy to lose 4 pounds in one week. The maximum recommended weight loss for one week is 2 pounds. Some experts have the opinion that, depending on your weight and height, it may be okay to lose 3 or 4 pounds in one week, but it is not ideal for long term weight maintenance. What kind of workouts did you do and what did your diet look like?

I drink about 4 cups of water a day, eat alot of fruits, veggies, chicken, and rice. My exercise routine is; daily 2 mile walks, 30 day squat challenge, push ups, crunches, and many other work outs. My height is 5'5, and weight a little over 200lbs.

You should be drinking A LOT more water than 4 cups a day.

Usually the first few weeks you lose weight fast and then it slows down. 4 pounds in a week is fine, just dont starve or overexercise yourself. As you were already told, doctors recommend that you lose 1-2 pounds a week.
