I'm planning on enlisting in the marines in about 3-4 months and I'm looking to drop as much of 60 lbs as is possible and strengthen my core and arms. Anyone know good workouts I could try?
You definitely want to start a full body resistance training program so you won't lose a lot of muscle with bodyfat as you start shedding the pounds. Cardio and proper nutrition is essential also. If your totally unsure where to start you may want to look into getting a personal trainer. A good personal trainer will provide a roadmap to success through exercise programming and nutritional recommendations.
