Losing weight gained from quitting smoking

I need help losing the 25 pounds I gained in the two months I quit smoking I've never had a weight problem I have fibromyalgia and my body doesn't work that well any suggestions

First, Andrea, congratulations! That's no small feat! 2nd, start slow and steady. There's no worse feeling than over doing it too soon and being so sore you can't move for a week! Start with the basics; walk for a reasonable amount of time with vigor. Then do some light stretching (LIGHT) and as your walks get longer, stretch to a MEDIUM resistence. The biggest key will be your diet. NO simple carbs (refined sugar, potato chips, cookies, etc....) and high quality complex carbs that come from green leafy vegetables sprinkled with high quality protiens like turkey, fish, chicken.
