I've become rather inactive over the last two months due to having to be at university from 8 am to 8 pm. Since I let myself make excuses, I wasn't really working out much at all. So my fitness has dropped.
So I am now issuing myself and all you fellow Skimblers this challenge: 10 minutes of real strength or intense cardio a day. That means that my 10 minute walk no longer counts.
Please post here if you want to join me in maintaining a consistent fitness regime! We'll keep a running log in this thread of our new and improved fitness lifestyle!
A few ground rules:
1.No negative comments on other people. Judge in the privacy of you own mind but keep it off text.
2. Cheer for others whenever you can.
3. Have fun!
Day 1 of holding myself accountable:
3 mins to push out 30 pushups.
Over an hour of tennis - only valid this week due to my instructor making me run like crazy.
I almost failed this for day 2 but I have completed a short spinning workout. Time for bed to store up against another 19 hour day.
Day 3: 10 minutes of weights. My arms are all shaky now
Day 4 was a spin session but I failed day 5.
Day 6: a 35 minute run for roughly 5.5 km and 3 minutes for 30 pushups plus 6 minutes for 75.
Started off early this morning with a spin session!
Tuesday and Wednesday were tennis days and today was another spinner. I'll try and fit in some weight training as well tonight!
I think I missed Friday. But abs work yesterday and a spin session today...
Day two down.
This is such a good challenge! Im going to bed in a minute so my Day 1 starts tomorrow! Any suggestions for workouts?
Day 3 done. Did a warm up cardio, crunches, oblique crunches, bridges, leg lifts, and a 3 minute wall sit. Might add onto it later.
Day four done. Walked 5 miles, did a cardio warmup, and started my ab program today.
Wow, it's been a long time since I've had time for the forums. Good to see new people have joined!!!

Day 5 done. Walked 3 miles, did some yoga and started my leg program today.
Day 6 done. I walked 3 miles, did my ab workout and warmup.
Lost track of days but 2 hours of I've skating and ten minutes of free weights today.
Weight work yesterday.
1 hour of cardio tennis and 1 hour of techniques for tennis today.
Ran 5km, 29 pushups and 91 sit ups today.
