December Run Challenge

Run for 15 minutes a day. More - yes, less - no.

Every single day, including Christmas and New Year's Eve: Dec 1st to 31st.

Be consistent, build a habit. No matter what.

Post here about every run (day 27 done etc).

Get 1 point for every completed workout, max 31 points at the end of the challenge.

Let's see who will get 31 !

I have a question, for those unable to go for a run. Can I translate that run to biking, stationary bike? I know the benefits are completly different but Cardio wise there might be a good equivalent. Is it ok? http://calorielab.com/burned/

Hi E A, if running is not an option, than yes, replacing it with a bike will count for this challenge.

Day 2 done! I was so tired after yesterday’s moving house, that got up very late (a day off luckily!) and didn't feel like doing any kind of workout! Finally fought this laziness though :-). Did jogging with short sprints. Feeling much better now. Off to another challenge - Rubi’s planks!

Day 2 done! Ugh rough day! Yesterday was my first day back post baby-- boy I missed her bunches!! But I thought to myself after I got her down for her nap this morning that I want her to be active as she grows so I have to be!! :) just a slow jog today!

Day 3 done! Sprints, run forward and backward, changing tempos every couple of minutes, fun! :-)

Yeah, I easily get bored with just plain running, so need to introduce some variety to keep me going :D

Day 3 done! With my Maggie moo right in the workout room with me! She sure loved dancing to the music. But did a 25 minute jog. Week 7 of my c25k program. Have my first 5k on Saturday! :)

Oh and can i run 3 times a day to get that days that i lost(becaus i didn't see) ? After i get days that i lost im will run normaly and count normaly... :)

Hi Nebojsa, welcome to the challenge :) The purpose of this challenge is mostly to build a habit, so it would be better if you just finished it later, but actually run for 31 days straight. Why? Because we people are usually full of enthusiasm at the beginning but lack consistency in the long run. That's just my suggestion, the challenge is yours though, so please do as you feel works better for you :)
