Recently diagnosed with hashimotos 4 months ago and hypothyroidism 2 year ago and can't lose weight despite blood work is normal. Any suggestions on a diet?
If you are REALLY serious about getting your thyroid problems under control (into longterm remission, not a cure) then find and strictly follow a paleo autoimmune protocol. Here's some introductory reading: http://www.thepaleomom.com/autoimmunity/the-autoimmune-protocol. It might not be fun, but it will be worth it. Losing weight will come as an added bonus to getting your digestive system back in order. If you are committed, 2015 may be the year you show your thyroid who's in charge! Best of luck!
