How many push-ups can you do in one set?

The most I have ever done without resting is 65. I'm trying to reach 100 without stopping :)

Good 4 u guys I envy u I can't do 1 push upĀ  my back muscles are weak to make a single push up any suggestions??

Try doing them on your knees or against the wall until you can do a real one.

Brytnt n Bryan thank u for correcting me coz I thought its all abt back muscles since it's the muscle that hurts me every time I try making push-ups. I'll try to do wat u both suggested n update u ;)

I had a similar issue with posture. To correct my back, I stare at my toes during the push up. My head is down and it straightens my back :)

Edit: Did 41 push ups in my last workout, feel damn happy!!!

100 ATM but I got a pulled tendon in my shoulder I use to do 150

Next time do 101, no one likes stopping on a odd number, maybe you will force yourself to 110.

Only 15 at this point. I just started counting on Friday and by Saturday I was so sore that I haven't tried again yet lol

I cant seem to get past 55. I feel good most of the way thru 40s then its like i hit a brick wall into the 50s. But i just keep ttying.

Makes a big difference whether you do 'arms to 90 degrees' or 'chest to ground' press ups. I do chest to ground. Best for me is 62.

Not literally 'chest to ground' but chest an inch from the ground if you catch my drift :)

Aww I'm not saying either way is correct. Just that 'chest to floor' are a lot harder as you're you're pushing up from a lower position :-D Nobody does press-ups well when they first begin anyway. We all were rubbish at one point! :-D

You need to build your core up so its strong enough to support you. Then just tighten everything up and drop it down to a 45 degree angle. Its not how many how do, because if you are doing them wrong it does you very little good.
