Is there a too skinny? Weighing 114 and 5'7

Sounds healthy to me, but I'm sure any doctor will tell you to gain weight. Then again, most doctors will always have a problem with your weight ._. Lol I'm 5'1" and 92 lbs.

Are you guys crazy??? Of course there's a too skinny!!! Anorexia & malnutrition kill people every day.
(Not saying you are OP. Hope you're eating healthy though)

Yes I eat healthy. I eat like every other person maybe even more but I just can't seem to gain any weight.

Maybe really fast metabolism ? Same happens to me. I eat loads but I'm still lean. maybe because you exercise, yeah? You'll burn the fats you just ate...

Yeah then working out doesn't help my situation, but I don't like not doing anything. It makes me feel bad, and I have no energy

Well, I've heard it has to do with metabolism. I don't gain weigh either and for lacking workout my thin muscles grow soft and weak. Eating a bit of everything is important for us. It is what nutritionist call a well-balanced diet. Your body frame and genetics play a role too. I'd say you are fine if you have good appetite, after all is not like you'd be skinny for want of food if you eat well, right? Stay in balance. Stay motivated.

You are right about the metabolism... there metabolism is higher. But do you know why our muscles grow soft and weak?

Not 100%sure but I think it has to do with inactivity. Apparently by using a muscle constantly its fibers break and regenerate stronger than before. Overwork yourself and the muscle may rip and become damaged. On the other hand a muscle you don't use grows thin and weak and become atrophied. Yet skinny people can get healthy strong too, Bruce Lee would be my role model.

Exactly my condition, no matter how good I eat and how much I work out its really difficult to get a little bit of muscle in my skinny body. I just have to keep on trying though...

You should start using whey protein which helps in bulking up.
Try one of optimum nutrition.
