Alright first of all im 16, 5'2 and im almost 190 pounds. I want to lose 5 pounds before new years. Im gonna try to do 20 crunches a day maybe more if I can. Who wants to try it with me?
Good luck with it but if your goal is weight loss then I'll recommend against doing crunches you'll be much better off doing hiit workouts or Cardio 30 min early in the day on empty stomach. Crunches burn little calories and starts developing your abs long before you'll be able to see them and as they're basically muscles so they'll actually make you weigh more do them when you are at the muffin top stage. I agree with Raja, to lose weight by doing exercise you need to sweat. 20 crunches isn't going to make any difference at all weight-wise.
Jump rope also
U won't loose any waight by just doing crunches... try bodyweight high intensity exercises. ..
