Focus on your shoulders (press), chest (bench press, flys, and push ups ), thighs (squats, deadlifts), and lats (rows, pull ups/pull downs)

There's only the slight off chance of affecting your growth if you lift with bad form and don't warm up properly. Get with the phys ed instructor at your school or one of the sports coaches. They'll get you on track
