Weight lose and toning

So I would like to lose weight I'm 5'6 and always between 175-180 and I would like to lose weight and tone muscle. So what food and exercises would be the best to help me with that. My goal weight would be 160.

Start by doing cardio like 30 minutes so day one would be like cardio for the whole body next day upper body with some weights like 3-5lbs then the 3rd day lower body 4th day Pilates and the 5th day cardio for the whole body

Oh and eat as healthy as you can it will help 3 meals a day and 2-3 healthy snack you eat every 3hours
