Trynna lose some weight?

I've been working out and doing some exercises for a while, and all I've been getting is sore with small results! I want to lose at least 15 pounds before the fall, but I feel I'm just doing pointless things. Help??

How long have you been going? What's your routine? Are you only working out, or also changing your eating habits? The math is pretty simple: if you burn more calories than you consume, you lose weight. The higher the deficit, the more weight you lose.

You should stretch before you workout or a warm up. It prevents you from feeling soreĀ

I have been stretching, but maybe I haven't been doing enough. Got an idea on what major muscles I should focus on before I start working out?
