Trynna lose some weight?

I've been working out and doing some exercises for a while, and all I've been getting is sore with small results! I want to lose at least 15 pounds before the fall, but I feel I'm just doing pointless things. Help??

You should stretch before you workout or a warm up. It prevents you from feeling sore
