Improvements and Accomplishments!

Hey Guys :)
I have been working out for quite some time and I am feeling like I've improved slightly, but significantly less than expected. I understand that everyone is unique, but I am just wondering about everyone else's workout experiences, for curiosity's sake. I am wondering how long each of you been working out? How many hours do you workout per a week? What kind of improvements/achievements have you made? I personally am trying to gain some weight/muscle mass in my legs and arms. I am having difficulties with this, and to be honest, I have no clue why. So if anyone has any tips or stories related to this, I'd love to hear them.

it helps me stay stress free, energetic, and helps me with my sanity lol.

Stress free? That may be a little difficult for me. Haha But it's worth a shot.
