Press Behind Neck. Is it good or bad?

Just wanted to know if the press behind neck is worth doing.

Yes! Unless you have pre existing shoulder injuries. It is a very effective move.

I've read from more than one place that it's bad... And pressing in front is a better movement for shoulders... I guess you should Google it

Bad. It places more stress to the neck and shoulder area leading to a,greater risk to neck(disc) injury and shoulder impingement. You can get just as effective workout by going infront and your injury chance decreases. Anyone that tells you it is good for you has not kept up with recent research data.

My grandpa is 80 and still does the behind the neck press. Hmmm it's called form I think.
