Petite but pudgy

I am 5 feet tall and weight between 100 and 105 pounds. I know that isn't alot, but I play field hockey and during my off seasons i feel like I gain a ton of weight. I don't actually gain pounds, but I get a bigger stomach and thighs. I feel like my arms get flabby and my face gains weight. I have trouble staying active douring the off season because of school and holidays. I can't put vanity over good grades. I would rather get straight a's than work out. I want to make both my grades and my fitness a priority but need to keep my grades high. Does anyone have similar problems?

Hey. Many people have that issue so you are not alone. I personally have lots of trouble during November and December because there is so much food and things going on plus cold weather, etc. Lol. But you can always watch your eating. Try balancing your diet to keep weight off as much as you can. You can also do short workouts right before a shower. Maybe 8-15 minute workouts. It's very doable and won't take away from your study time.
