I have patellar tendanitis and was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. I am still able to run and lift but can squat anymore. When i do run or squat afterwards I'm in considerable pain. Any suggestions.
Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried heat and cold and nothing seems to help. I just try to ignore it a push through.
I deal with Patellar tendinitis now for more then 10 years and haven't found anything that would held me.
I always loved running from 10 k to Marathon but I had to give it up it was to much pain.
But i still try it every now and then and hope.
Early stages may be treated conservatively using the R.I.C.E methods.
I use damp warm towels wrapped around my knee while I eat breakfast everyday I sit till its room temp heat it up again wait for it to be room temp then I work out I take breaks as needed to reapply the warm towel and rest. after work out follow R.I.C.E. rules
