Fatigue during workout due to long work hours

I work the grave yard shift.....6pm -6am. I go on 4-5 hours of sleep per day. I try to keep my workouts intense and under an hour. But I just never get over the tired feeling.Any suggestions?

Perhaps you should change when you workout. More sleep is most likely needed also. Lastly, hows the diet? Are you eating  often enough to compensate for your workout?

because of work my diet suffers.

You should meal prep on your off days. I work nights also and have learned it's best to make my meals over the weekend for my week.

Meal prep is a great idea! It has helped me tremendously. It's a must for any busy person trying to stay fit. It'll help you eat clean too, which will improve how you feel.
