I'm already thin 5'5 120lbs.. I just want to gain healthy weight "muscle". I also have had a kid so my belly is not tight just thin. Any tips?! ♥

I have been doing squats with weights for the past week. I'm so sore so I'm taking a rest day. But I'll be back on it tomorrow! Thanks the advice!! :)
Hi Mitzi welcome!!! So u Wnt hard abs n muscles hey?! Pushups,tricep dips,pushups with rotations,squats,lunges,planks,mountain climbers. The list is endless bt it's all about technique. If u r new to ths start with a whole body program,bth to build muscle u nd to eat lots of protein and do weights.
Hey I jst read u r already workng wth weights! So squats,sumo squats,Bulgarian split squats,deadlifts,steppes,high setups,legpress all with weights are excellent for legs. Mke sure after weights to up yr protein to help with muscle repair n recovery. N yes rest days r good,it gives muscles chance to repair in between. DNT do legs every day or any other muscle group in 2consecutive days,bcos it's ripping muscle fibres that DNT gt a chance to repair ie grow. Good luck n welcome!

I work out five days a week,it's important to have rest days,if u do weights Monday,Wednesday,Friday then do cardio the alternate days u shld b good. I DNT workout weekends as I have four kids n I love to play with them lol!! I know u said u r slim bt u still need cardio Othrwise u may have great muscle definition bt yr agility n flexibility will b gone. So may I suggest a Tabata style cardio workout? N I have recently started yoga and body balance,its amazing!!!
I think when it comes to protein shakes it's each to their own. Personally I use BSC bcos this is wot I lke,i only use it after heavy weights days so o DNT use protein shakes on legs days bcos I have big muscley quads so I jst tone legs. Bt wen I do abs n use a lot of weight I will use protein powders. Bth everyone is different. Diet plays a huge part in hw u look,clean eating will gt u results quicker!
Yeah that would work perfect for me also since I am a mom too. And thank you for all the advice.. I was clueless since I have never worked out before this week bc I have always been really thin.
I am trying my hardest on the clean eating but my hubs isn't helping. Cooking cake and everything I don't need! Lol
Lol,maybe Google healthy alternatives for cake? I am sure u cn have yr cake and eat it too. I am Nt a sweet tooth so I am good that way.
