I need to get bigger and faster for football.

I'm also trying to build muscle (for college football season). What you need to do is up your protein intake. I have a protein powder I take every morning when I wake up, at least 30 minutes before and 45 mins. after a workout. When you workout it's in two stages... (1) the bulking stage: along with eating more food (healthy foods ) when you're working out you have a heavy hitter stage this is when you do low reps, low sets, and lots of weight. (2) toning stage: this is when you do high reps (10-12), mid sets (3-4),...

Run a lot to build endurance! If your 14+ lift weights that challenge you but don't do many reps! And practice with teammates(full contact)
