Im a 20 year old male and about 5"9 1/2 and roughly 120 lbs. Im consuming on average 2500-3100 calories all of which are from healthy foods that have protein, carbs, fat and not empty calories. Sadly though I was on average 115 lbs and I gained 7 lbs roughly im about 122 but the progresss is so slow. Is there anything else I can do to speed up this weight gain or slow my metabolism. I have noticed Ive put on muscle thanks to going to the gym 3 times a week weight lifting but somedays I gain .5 lbs others I lose a pound and I havent passed 122 yet im stuck at this weight. Any tips on gaining healthy weight?
Just continue like this! What you can do is start training on strenght so that after that period your trainings weights lay some higher which will help you gain mass
