Aside from cardio is there anything else I should be doing to target my post pregnancy belly?
Um..my aunt had the same issue and she did some light core work and worked up to pretty hard stuff..I know she did a lot of planks and side crunches. Other than that I wish you luck with your progress!
Calories. You have to burn more than you eat. Getting rid of fat is as simple as that. Targeting an area is mostly myth. You lose fat all over your body, eventually your belly slims down too.
Core exercises are super great for your health, though, and muscle helps burn more calories... AND when you finally do burn enough fat, your belly will have a better shape if there is some muscle under the flesh.
