The electrolytes you lose through sweating are mostly sodium. There is a fad right now to drink coconut water because of the electrolytes in it, but said electrolyte in coconut water is mainly potassium, not sodium. So, whoever drinks coconut water thinking it is some kind of natural Gatorade needs to check their facts.
But coconut water is otherwise quite healthy. I know I have trouble having enough potassium. It just isn't good to replenish electrolytes lost through sweating.
