average workout time

what is you rough average time for workouts

I'm trying to figure out if I'm working out too much. I do between 40 and 60 minutes almost daily and it's mostly dumbbells or bodyweight exercises.

2 hours that's basically over training and muscle exhaustion

Means you have to much dam time on your hands if your not a professional athlete.

I have no life so I have nothing to do all day but workout so long amounts of exercise doesn't really have a downside I can see

Shoot for 45-60 minutes. If you don't take too many breaks that should be perfect.

One hour 30 min to 2 hours but I have a lot (well less now) fat to burn off.

If you feel like you're overdoing it, then follow your instinct! Start off with dumbells for 30 minutes and do some jogging for another 30 or dancing or anything else cardio. There's your 60 minutes. There's no need to over work only one area.

Most research suggests that 45mins is optimal if the intensity is high.. Obviously 45 mins involving 5 min breaks and checking your phone does not count! I work on the basic principle that if I'm not sweating my ass off after 5-10mins I'm not working hard enough. It may not be pretty at the gym but it makes me feel goooood

I just freestyle it and do what i fancy.  Lately it's up to an hour every other day intense stuff and yoga and stretching on the in between days
