Beginner gym workouts??

Good afternoon,
I just purchased a gym membership and I'm looking for some gym workouts that will strengthen core build a little muscle. Since I am starting out I dont want anything extreme or hardcore just some of the basics.. and any suggestions or tips anyone can share on this.. thanks in advance

You should do 1. cardio basic 5 or 8 :30 fast movement excercises to warm up or dynamic workouts then either 2. jog on a treadmill or 65% heavy reps lifts with many reps.
