Building Calf Muscles

When working out your calf muscles, about how long will it take to see your calves getting bigger or more muscular/toned. I don't mean a huge difference but enough to make you go "wow .. it's working!"

it varies ....depending on your body type .

Typically at takes 8-12 weeks for a muscle to develop, with the proper exercise and nutrition.
Your calf on the other hand may be harder to see results than is typically seen in other muscles.  Most muscles are class 3 levers, but the calf is one of the few class 2 levers in the body, this allows for it to produce greater force but may show less definition in the muscle belly.

It depends on what exercises you are doing, calves that need toning need to be running, uphill, you'll never find a better exercise with faster RESULTS THAN running uphill on your toes for calves
