Low calorie diet and lots of cardio. Also, there's a great workout here in Skimble in toning your obliques. Search for "No More Love Handles" :)

Well, it's not as easy as that. Sure you'll lose weight with a low calorie diet. But you want be sure to lose fat and not lean muscle. So just make sure you have a calorie deficit but you are also working those muscles and eating the right foods. Good food is better than less food.

Create a calorie deficit over a prolonged period of time. This is basically all you have to do.
