What workouts should I do if I have a sore back or should I rest?

And I'm also going ice-skating today... I have a sore back and it just really hurts :(

The best thing to do with a sore back is rest. But if it is an injury, I recommend strengthening your core, it'll help to make your back feel better. (recovered from fractured spine)

You may want to take it easy for a bit. Stretch it out but nothing major. Just my thoughts.
