Hit the cardio button . Strength building exercise are good but if you really want you're abs to pop you may need to shed some excess fat with some good cardio (trust me Runner's look chiseld from head to toe for a reason). And eat healthy (good carbs, good fats, veggies, proteins). Cut back on sugary drinks (sodas, sweet drinks, etc.) , candy, and then some.
