Yes, I just had a baby myself and a good exercise is planks!! Seriously thats all you really need and maybe some squats! :)
Yes, plank as in elbow plank. That will get you sweatin'!! Its great for your core and burning fat, especially if you dont have lots of time.

If you are trying to lose weight all over you need to incorporate workouts that work the whole body. Hiit/tabata bodyweight circuits, cardio circuits and pair that with clean eating and lots of water.
