How much of a difference does compression clothing make when you are working out? what's the difference with the cheap stuff compared to the expensive stuff?

Personally I only think it makes a difference if you are running or cycling. I have had a pair of proformax compression pants (dearer ones) and they have not lasted as well as the ones I bought from aldi for 16 dollars! So it really depends what you buy, but I would actually highly recommend the aldi compression wear!!

Helps skin breathe much easier. Dries super fast as well. Feels great and I think it makes you look better.

I use bike riding shorts all the time.  For short rides it really doesn't matter, but for long rides  not having to wear underwear or jocks is very freeing.  The irritation from constant rubbing in the groin from bunched up underwear when you cycle can be excruciating.
