Caught my second wind...exciting!

Started jogging last week, and I was struggling with my breathing. After a few days of taming my breathing thru my nose out my mouth and taking in the fresh air....I am able to sustain my jogs to catch my second wind. It feels good....I'm thinking soon I'll be able to run a little faster.

This is exciting for two reasons.
1) I'll burn a lot more calories. ..which means I'll slim down quicker reaching my goal.
2) I'm making slow progress.

Question: who uses the audio books when they jog/run/walk. Is it highly recommended and if so why?

I'm new to this so I will try the audio books to find out what they about. That's good info that you put out. It can help others.

I don't use audio books but I do listen to music and sermons while I walk and jog. It seems to stimulate my brain and removes the focus off of the exercise pain.
