Is watermelon healthy??

My family grew them this year and I've been eating watermelons a lot... Are they healthy?

They have quite a bit of carbs, I think it's something like 12 or 13 grams per cup. So, in moderation..

I believe anything thats consider as vegetables and fruits and definitely healthy and you can eat as much as you want :)

Watermelon is very healthy. I ate it quite a bit during my diet, and still do. 1 cup (diced). You could eat it every day if you wanted to.

They are healthy although to much of it can be unhealthy considering the amount of natural sugar in it but is extremely healthy my advice don't over do it ;)

You don't say :p
They are 70% water and have many vitamins, so basically you can eat as much as you want.
I think the only fruit you should watch out is avocados

Avocados are VERY healthy; they are high in fats that are extremely beneficial for your body.

I don't think it is humanly possible to eat enough avocados in one sitting to harm your diet... I have just half, and I am full.

It's really healthy , specially when you're following a diet , it's low in carbs and it's all watery makes you feel full the minute you eat it

It's super healthy but like all fruit has a lot of sugar in it. So eat it in moderation. Even the best things for you can turn sour if you have too much of it.

Watermelon is the second best fruit for you besides blueberries. It's full of water, and many vitamins, along with antitoxins which clear your body of harmful things :)

No fruit is healthy after 4:00 really. It contains too much sugar. :) Learned this tonight from my trainer.

What is it with people suggesting to cut down on fruit because it contains sugar? Guess what: EVERYTHING has sugar! Ooh! Carrots are bad for you, they contain sugar! Ooh, cereals are bad for you, they contain sugar! Ooh, beef is bad for you, it contains sugar! Really?!

People, let's not overdo it, please. Fruits are universally good for you. If there is one thing in the world you can eat without moderation, it is fruit. Besides, when you consider watermelon a bad thing to eat, you are not allowing yourself any pleasure in eating. I feel truly sorry for people who eat only because they have to and not because they enjoy it.
