Adopting the daily calorie need of target weight.

I am a 138lbs man my target weight is 150lbs. Is it advisable if I adopt the calorie intake of a 150lbs man?

I suggest you make an account on livestrong.com. On their website, they have a feature called myplate which I use. It tells you how many calories you need to consume each day whether you want to gain or lose weight and how fast. I hope this helps!
