Carbohydrate meal replacement

Hey, looking for something to replace pasta and rice with in my pre-workout meal. I usually use cucumber, pepper, chorizo and a meat in around 150g of pasta before a 3 hour climbing session. I'm wondering what I could use instead of pasta to cut down on carb intake? Does whole grain pasta have less carbs and better for me? Thanks

Cauliflower, cauliflower and more cauliflower lol...and some turnip. Turnip is a great low carb replacement for potatoes. And take some cauliflower, grate up one cup in a cheese grater. Place it in a microwave safe bowl and nuke for 3-4 minute. Very similar taste and consistency to rice with very few carbs. Haven't found a replacement for pasta yet.

Have you ever tried spaghetti squash? Look it up it's pretty amazing.
