I hear this question all the time, one thing I have realized while figuring out how and what times we as humans should eat in a day is, our body craves "good food" this means the more natural and sustaining foods we eat, the less we crave "junk food." All though "junk food" is tasty, it always keeps us coming back for more. That brings us back to when we should eat, the human body needs nutrition every 3 to 4 hours to prevent energy dips, metabolism slowdowns, crankiness, and cravings from interfering with life. Eating based on time rather than hunger is one of the problems with the three-meals-a-day tradition. This all concludes that if we eat properly our bodie's "food clock" will revert back to the natural cycle that keeps us healthy and slim.
