I'm getting confused with all the different protein powders and was wondering if you guys had any recipes for protein shakes that don't require powder.

Here are some tips etc. On what to put in your smoothie (=

Fruits:
Bananas
Blueberries
Strawberries
Kiwi

Dairy:
Low fat greek yogurt
Low fat milk/soy milk
Low fat almond milk

Nuts: (you can add nuts for extra protein + healthy fats + extra crunch)
Almonds
Cashews
Walnuts
Pecans

Sweetners: (for if you want a bit more sweetness)
Honey or any good sweetner you prefer

Mix one or two of each catagory together to create your smoothie (= add ice too if you would like [=

You can really make your own kind of smoothie go wild xD I eat Futurelife High Protein and I usually use it to add more protein and make my shake thicker :)

Most days I make a big smoothie with carrots, cucumbers, greens like kale and spinach, banana, some berries...I use hard boiled egg whites sometimes, they blend fine for 3 grams protein each. Also I use this stuff they make in Korea called mook, or acorn jelly. maybe its available where u are. I haven't tried yogurt but i hear Greek is higher in protein. I like the way Nutiva Organic Hemp Protein powder blends with my veggies &fruits.

Sometimes i use nuts but I don't really look at those as a protein source as much as a healthy fat source.
