What foods or drinks do you consume after a good workout?

I love bananas or peanut butter on wheat toast, with water and a few squeezes of lemon juice (from a lemon, not that bottled stuff).

I eat 2 egg whites after a workout,and a meal.if not egg whites, bannana(s)

Anything high protein after a weightlifting session. So basically a low fat cheese, or lean meat like grilled chicken breast on fresh tossed greens. I don't eat anything though until I drink 16 ounces of water first. That helps to prevent over eating which is common after a workout.

I eat protein! Natural! Cottage cheese or eggs! Earlier I drank proteinaceous cocktails, but now I choose only natural proteinaceous products
