I have read mixed articles on dried fruit and asked some people with same result.

What is everyone opinion on dried fruit? Good, bad? What do you normally snack on?

Dried unsweetened mango is exceptional and super tasty. Dried strawberries and bananas are tasty too. All of these give you the feeling of eating a snack but without the guilt. I vote yes. :)

Fresh is the best...dried fruits are high in calories and sugar. So, no doubt on this one.

Actually, dried fruits don't gain any sugars or calories simply by being dried. As I said in my previous comment, as long as you get the unsweetened versions or pop them into the dehumidifier yourself, then you'll be just fine.
