Need help with protein intake.

I suffer from gall bladder disease which rules out most dairy and meats. Everything I eat has to be low or non fat.

At the moment my daily protein comes from tofu, boiled chicken breast, and protein shakes. My shakes is where I get majority of my protein from, but I can only drink very small amounts without vomiting. I'm looking for more variety and my doctors and dieticians hasn't been very helpful.

Any suggestions to where I can get more protein?

Eat fruits, fish, eggs, nuts and lean meat ;)

Quinoa perhaps? It has 14g of protein for every 100 grams. And if done right tastes pretty good.

Walnuts, macadamia nuts, cashew nuts and almonds  have lots of protein too.

Peanuts have up to 25g protein per 100g, have some healthy fats as well.... Nuts in general, and some seeds :)

Boiled eggs, quinoa, legumes like chickpeas, fave beans, peas, beans, lentils, soy. Seitan, tofu, tempeh, chia seeds, almonds, spinach (especially not cooked) dried apricots, spirulina algae. This are the most proteic food except meat. And you can make burgers, salads, soups, use them in pasta or rice. Try to eat all them to gain all the main amino acids for your body ;)

Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions! I've been trying different recipes with the suggested ingredients and it's terrific knowing alternate protein sources. 

So far, my gall bladder has been happy and no attacks for about a month.
