There's not Really protein in milk. Try adding a supplement to the milk (whey or whatever)
Milk would be fine, just as long as you don't feel full while working out. If your going for protein then def get some after a workout to build the muscles you just worked out. I generally do fruit/cliff bars before a workout if I feel I need some energy
I wouldn't drink milk and im not a fan of protein before workouts either only after...
I have porridge...orignal instant pot no sugar..takes seconds to make and if you add extra cold water after making it you can get it down quicker, in fact drink it almost!
