Hey guys, I am trying to lose some weight and gain muscels. I often exercise in the evening and so I do not eat afterwards. Now, I have read in many articels, that it is important to eat something with carbs after working out in order to gain muscels. Is this true? I never eat after 6pm.. What should I do? Please help :)

Some females I know that workout in the evenings have a glass of non fat chocolate milk and it contains protein and carbs.
Its very important to eat half hour after exercise to replace energy for your body,you need protien and carbs,or you will go into starvation mode making ur body hold onto fat.I have chicken,sweet potato and spinage,have a little after recovery then more later.Its good not to worry too much about cals,the fitter u become the more you need and u will make muscle,good luck
