Is coffee any good for you when you're on a diet? I add half a package of sweet and low and four tsp of milk.

I read its good for ur metabolism but without milk I think

Hey, I have been told that my metabolism is high. So, coffee is good or not??

It depends on the type of diet your on and what it calls for.

At the moment I've been told no caffeine in my diet, I'll look in to it more and find out why. As for coffee it comes down to how many you intend to have and what you have it with. Some people have 5 a day, full cream milk and two sugars others have it black and no sugar... think about it.

Coffee is awesome and everyone should drink a cup a day. Black, of course. Don't add sugar, creamer and all that crap. It's full of antioxidants to fight off illness, caffeine to boost metabolism, and protects your liver. Go drink a cup now

Im not a happy man without a coffee, I've read some studies that say a little caffeine after working out is good..

Either way life is for living and I do love a coffee and its not going to pile on the lbs even with 2 sugars and milk It would be around 80 cals at most less than most sports drinks which I recommend you do stay away from.

I love coffee but I can't do it anymore.  When I stoped, it felt as though the world had lost its coulor lol.  Yet my nerves had settled and I was sleeping better and feeling healthier. Now I drink green tea and I find so much better for me personally anyway.  Enjoy your coffee but keep your water and minerals up as coffee depletes

It's not the coffee, it's what you add to it. 
I went without it in December but now allow myself a couple of cups a day with creamer. To compensate for it though I do an extra 10 minutes of cardio every day

Milk has fat and could be bad on cholesterol use the low fat or fat free
