Many carbs and some protein (meat, eggs, fish...) after  working out. The best time to eat the protein is before going to bed, because your body is mostly growing during sleep (growth hormones etc.).

I'm starting a meal plan now but don't know how to go about making it, I drink my protein shake after a workout or if I want a quick fix I add some oats and fruit! !:) and essential oils I need to be getting or anything?

Just eat healthy and varying and you shouldn't miss any nutrients. Also your body can't take more than 30-40g protein at once, so eating more is pointless and on a long term bad for your kidneys.

I read you need to eat a lot through the day to bulk up?
