The average calorie intake recommended is 2000 calories a day. Try logging your normal calorie intake ( my fitness pal works for me) for a few days and get an idea of how many calories you normally consume, then depending on if you want to lose weight, maintain weight or gain weight adjust it accordingly. Less calories + exercise to lose weight/gain muscle, and more calories + exercise to gain weight/muscle
