Is peanut butter fattening?

I have a really unhealthy addiction to peanut butter and I don't know how to get over it. I've read several articles on it where people say that it's healthy fats or whatnot but I have been eating it so much and I noticed I gain weight from it. Any suggestions to get over my addiction for peanut butter?

slowly decrease your peanut butter intake daily! bit by bit. if you try to cut it out completely, you won't be successful. peanut butter is a healthy fat, but too much of anything is bad for you. I would suggest no more than 2-4 tbsp a day! moderation is key. good luck!!

In large amounts just like everything else. A serving of peanut butter is usually 2 tbs for 200 cals. Just use less. I measure out three teaspoons to put on celery. I suggest measuring your servings so you don't over do it.
