Moonarie is a remote cliff on the outer South Eastern rim of Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges.
Rock is quartzite and of excellent quality, routes up to 123m.
Although there is a rainwater tank which collects seepage, assume no water is available.
Camping is on private land and for CLIMBERS ONLY. There are no facilities whatsoever and you are 40 km from the nearest town. No phone reception.
Climbing is mostly trad with some sport routes - no bolted routes below grade 19 Ewbanks.
Be aware that the grades for routes here can be quite difficult, especially those pre 1980.
