About Me

Hey everyone, My name is Erica, I'm 26 going on 27. I've always struggled with my size and weight because of what people tell me or imply I should look like and how much I should weigh, and I played sports year round, so that was always really disconcerting for me. But as I grew into adulthood, I realized that the number on the scale only counts so much. It never considered my bone density or muscle mass (which there was a lot of), so the scale has never really been my friend. Thankfully I have reached a point in my life where I have learned to love my body, even with its imperfections. Sure I have bad days, but I was never SO dissatisfied with my body that I was truly (or consistently) motivated to do anything about it. I recently moved back to the states from Italy, where I didn't have a scale, only a tape measure. And through SERIOUS calorie restriction (not counting and restricting.. just... not eating very much) I lost a total of 44 inches from my body in 9 months. And when I got back I stepped on the scale and realized that I had dropped from 216.2lbs down to 190.8lbs. I know that's not a healthy way to loose weight, but that doesn't mean I want to gain it back. Which brings me to this app and site. Now that I'm back, my boyfriend who LOVES food and LOVES to feed me, is going to make it difficult to continue to loose or even to maintain my current losses. So, with the help and motivation from this site and the people that use it, I am going to make a sincere effort to be healthy. My goals are to loose inches, not necessarily pounds, and to tone and strengthen my body. I want to be strong and healthy. So, some numbers... I suppose for a target weight, I'd like to be around 170lbs. And for measurements: Upper arm: 9" Overbust: 36" Underbust: 34" Bust: 36" Waist: 27" Hip: 36" Medium Hip: 37" Low Hip: 34" Thigh: 23" Calf: 14"
