Six years ago, I was faced with a knee problem that shook my world. My knee locked up, and I was on crutches for a month. After that followed months of physical therapy which unfortunately didn't help much. It was then realized that I would need surgery. Because of how inactive I was during this time I gained a lot of weight but also lost a lot of strength. Post-surgery I was determined to get it back. Fast forward a few years- I've done 2 5ks and made fitness part of my lifestyle. I recently became a certified GFI with hopes of bringing the gift of fitness to you!
