Couldn’t even get close to the saddle pose. Been hitting the legs pretty hard lately. There needed a rest and a good stretch.

I will keep trying. But I have to admit flexibility has always been my biggest weakness. When you cycle your hunched over a lot. So these holds I think will help me.

Thanks Jason. According to my Fitbit it had around 700 ft in elevation gain. Getting so strong on the bike. I didn’t even feel it.

Really love my new workout regimen. It works in better with all my outdoor activities. Probably don’t even need to work the legs. They get killed regularly on the bike.

Middle top of hill. They where scampering up the hill. Couldn’t get close enough for a decent picture. They slowly moving away as they were grazing. Finally they had enough of me. They went up the hill.

Took the long way down. Rumaged around. Even seen some deer.

So I got all the way to the trail head and realized I left my watch at home. So last 4th of July my battery died on my big hike. So missed out about 13 miles of steps on my fit bit. So I went home and got my watch today. Still bummed about my 4th of July hike. Probably would of had 30000 steps that day.

Hike - trail run at the end. Took a min break at 1/2 mi. Mark, then hit it pretty hard for the last mi. Did that mile section in 18 mins 44 secs? Best time ever 10 years ago. 17 mins 33 secs. Not bad for an old fart. Who don’t even trail run any more.

The whole thing has about 900 elevation gain. The last mile has probably 600 ft. I can’t run the whole way. I have sections that are more smooth and not as steep.

Been killing the legs lately. Decided to give them a break today. It’s amazing how easy it felt with no uphill work to wear you out. Nice flat ride. Only had to deal w slower riders on bike path. Other than that it was a great ride.

Been doing. Big rides and big hikes lately. My legs were feeling the Dead lifts. My legs are always soar though, with all the cycling I do.

2 peak day. Big Horn Then Cucamonga peaks 15 miles rnd trip with about 5000 ft in elevation gain. 8 hrs of solid hiking.

So yesterday I hung out w a friend at the Country Club pool. The place was packed. The swimming lane was busy. So I just basically tread water for close to 30 mins. My legs don’t really get tired because all the cycling I do. But man what a full body workout. Feelin it a lil today.
